Maybe i should update this....

Wow, been a whie since i've updated, huh? Well, here it goes anyway. Sky has been getting back into gear, new members, but no more ls bank in excahnge for bidding on money drops to attract more people. I also got the Abjuration for Shura haidate. fortunately, the price for cursed haidate wasn't too bad, under 200K. i also got a Seiryu Sword, for reasons beyond me really, unless i want to skill sword up. That reminds me, i need to work on polearm sometime, glad i have a Tonbo-giri. Been getting back into farming, need to keep on top of that. Still working on Rana, still a pain, and almost have enough merit points for my last STR merit, then it's onto finishing up overwhelm, ikishoten, shikikoyo and blade bash. Well, until next time, see ya..

Barduwulf's Travelogue, the roleplay version

Idecided a while back to document my adventures in a journal format, for my own entertainment and that of others. i'm starting off with chapter 2 of CoPs, since ideas just came flooding to me:

It was only recently my companions and i had vanquised a beast within the spire of the shadowed Promyvion of the Crag of Holla, same as i had done with others in the Crags of Dem and Mea. I and my companions were transported to the Mothercrystal room, where we found Nag'Molada, Telling us of what this darkness was. "The Emptiness" was said to be the ultimate force of destruction, making even the Dawnmaidens, those who feared no mortal nor god tremble in their presence. There was also the Platinum-haired boy, who somehow was able to touch the Mothercrystal, much to our confusion. a vision of the past then appeared, showing me a memory of what may have been that of the crystal. It had shown me Eald'narche, the Zilartian Prince that wished to reach the gates of paradise and become a god. The meaning of his words was somewhat vague, but i decided to write them within my travelogue in the case i need them for reference. the surrounding area became enveloped in shadows, and i lost consciousness. I awoke upon three meddlesome Tarutaru who we're picking my pockets! fortunately, my gobbiebag was sealed, but they managed to take the Amulet i had recieved from the young boy! It was then i realized that i was in a land that i have never seen, and that i was alone. apparently, my companions were not yet "qualified" to enter this place. fortunately, i was able to contact my companions, and inform them of my safety. after pulling out my specially modified Astral Compass, i had discovered that i was on the Tavnazian Archipelago, Lufaise Meadows to be precise. There also seemed to be an unusual vortex within the cave behind me. as i stepped into it, i was teleported to what i soon discovered to be the Valkurm dunes. At first i was tempted to return to through the vortex, but soon realized i needed to ready myself. I quickly returned to Bastok, retrieving all i believed i would need: food, water, my modified Soultrapper and a roll of plates, as well as my bow, arrows, and my Seiryu's Kote. I then made my way back to the vortex, and plunged in. what awaited my on the other side was anyone's guess, but i was determined to find out.

Well I’ve had an eventful week, so much so, that I haven’t had the time to write anything down. I suppose it is time for a recap of the week.I successfully made my way back through the vortex, once again finding myself in Lufaise Meadows. It was at this point I remembered that the three Tarutaru were heading west. It was safe to assume that there was some form of civilization to the south, and I preceded in that direction. As I walked through the Meadows, I was awe-struck by the sheer natural beauty of the area. I soon found a large expansion bridge, over a large chasm to a river. After crossing, I found the entrance to what seemed to be a cave carved out of the stone, but I was soon to learn that it was so much more. As soon as I entered the passage, I ran into none other but Nag’Molada! Fortunately, we decided to set aside our differences for the time being. It was then we were found by the Tavnazian guard, and learned that the people here were survivors from the Beastmen raid at Tavnazia during the Crystal War and was called the Tavnazian Safehold. After meeting with the Tavnazian guard, we also ran into those three meddlesome Tarutaru, accusing me of stealing the amulet from someone, when they stole it from me! Unfortunately, the person said to be the owner of this amulet, was away, but fortunately, we were not detained, and allowed to wander the city for the time being. Now, the Tavnazian Safehold was an impressive looking city, despite how it came to be. The first thing that caught my eye was an altar, with a book on it containing the story of the creation of the five races of Altana. After this, I wandered around the city, until I met a man by the name of Despachiaire, an elder of Tavnazia, who explained this city’s origins. The Tavnazian Safehold was a group of passages carved under the Cathedral, used as a subterranean harbor. Unfortunately, they were stranded there, since the land bridge to Quon, and with all vessels left. With the already existing port, the survivors of Tavnazia have been digging for the last 20 years, creating a new home, barely surviving. After I bid the elder good day, I decided to hear to the lowest level, first heading to the Sealion’s Den, the port which has been long closed, due to lack of vessels. Opposite of it I ran into Nag’Molada, along with the guard we met at the entrance of the safehold, as well as those three annoying Tarutaru, all standing in front of a large door. We learned that behind the door were the channels under the safehold, and were sealed by the cardinal long ago, due to the infestation of monsters. The cardinal was also able to place a seal on the aqueduct, weakening the monsters to a certain level of strength, but would also affect anyone or anything who entered the area. There apparently was also a large beast roaming around the Aqueducts, and threatened the safety of the citizens of the city. Realizing that it would help our situation, Nag’Molada volunteered our services to slay the beast. I, despite being somewhat sarcastic, I tend to like helping people out, so I was glad to offer my assistance. However, I need to take some preparations, and some help from my friends, who wish to offer aid as well.

I've gotta update this travelogue more often, or it's more writing fore meI guess it's best to start off with the various areas. if i were to go in chronological order, i'd probably mess it up.Starting off with Li'telor and Tu'lia: over the past few weeks, me and my friends raids into Tu'lia have been successful. my own success here however has been slightly lackluster. However, i have recently obtained a polearm by the name of Tonbo-Giri. this polearm admittedly has me interested in learning how to wield one. Another occurence in the gate to the gods was finally facing off with those Warriors of the crystal, the Ark Angels. myself and many other adventurers managed to bring all five of them together to face off with them. while the battle was difficult, we succeeded in the end, and the Ark Angels shattered. I managed to grab a shard from each of them and brought them to Yve'nolle. She used her abilities to forge them into a Bushinomimi for me. She said that mortals were never to have such power. aren't i the lucky one? also within the Boyahda Tree, me and my friends managed to find the elusive Voluptuous Vivian. we managed to defeat her, but her famous ring was nowhere to be found. On a more positive note, we were able to get a friend's brother a Parade Gorget from the Goblin WolfmanRecently in the Attohwa Chasm, i managed to climb the Parradamo Tor, and that was frustrating as hell, and this only the first of many journey's to the top. As things within Arjidiah are at current, my companions and i managed to find our way to the ashu talif, and discover it's true identity: the Black Coffin. soon after this, i was given audience with the empress Nashmeria II herself. there i was rewarded with the Glory Crown. unfortunately, Naja confiscated it from me, giving me an Imperial Mythril Piece instead. oh well, i like my sunglasses better anyway. After my audience with the empress, i met with an unusual fellow, who told me about sealed off areas of the Ruins of Alzadaal, and that he would exchange a way in for assault points. what he wants them for is uncertain, but i'm guessing it would involve taking the rewards worth these assault points on the Auction House, like other adventurers do. After another day, an ambassador by the name of Karababa came from Windurst to meet with the empress. unfortunately, one of the royal automatons and Lady Karababa's personal Cardian, King or Hearts, got into a fight, which the king won effortlessly. apparently, he was also not at full fighting strength. The Ambassador then left for Shararat's Teahouse for sweets, lest her temper become boiled over. I happened to find this event amusing, which Naja was quick to become aggrivated about. I decided it was best to head to the teahouse, to see if i could learn something about the situation. it was there i met with Gessho, and the San'd Orian knight acquainted with Raillefal. i then told stories of the inner workings of the Salaheem Sentinals, which turned their stomachs. the knight then left, and i began discussion with Gessho about the beasmen strongholds in Arjidiah. apparently, Gessho had an audience with the Mamool Ja of Mamook, learning why the beastmen wanted the Astral Candescence, and that the Black Coffin had made port within Halvung, the Troll Mercenaries territory. After this, Gessho was hit with high level Black Magicks, a Thunder spell to be exact, by none other then Lady Karababa, known on Quon and Mindartia as Doctor Shantotto. I decided it would be best not to blow her cover, so we acted as if we've never met. It was then she hired me as a guide, to the Ruins of Olduum no less. Apparently, the technology there was said to have been designed by Ramuh himself, and seeks ways to modify Cardians. We also heard some sort of noise, but shrugged it off. We then left for the Aydeewa Subterrane, and after a while, we found something surprising. Aphmau, the royal puppetmaster, and her automaton Ovjang were surrounded by Qiqirn, who were easily dispatched by Ambassador Karababa. Unfortunately, perhaps also expected, Ovjang challenged the King of Hearts to a duel. The king fired off a powerful fire-elemental spell, which i got caught in the crossfire. Fortunately, or unfortunately somewhat, i've been burned, shocked, frozen, drenched, quaked, and holy'd so many times, i've gained an unusual resistance. Hey, when you have sisters who level mage jobs... then again, the protection offered from my Suzaku's Sune-ate didn't hurt either.I soon regained consciousness, only to be met by the Grand Vizier and some immortals. The ambassador and King had already left, and Ovjang also seemed missing. Here's something valuable i learned: Razfhad, the Grand Vizier, is brother to Aphmau. After recovering Aphmau, he threatened me to not speak a word of this. Geez, couldn't you just ask? not like i have a reason to tell this to anyone. This guy's more depressing then Raubahn. Either way, i returned to the Salaheem Sentinals office, and unfortunately got caught in the crossfire of two of the most indimidating women you will ever meet. After both berated me(which i'm kinda used to, because again, i have sisters.), I was offered a chance to "redeem" myself if you will, and guide Lady Karababa the the Nagvuko Execution Chamber in Halvung. (Jeez, who comes up with these names, anyway?) The last thing that occured in West Aht Urghan was my last workings with Fari-Wari, which involved the infamous Flameserpent General, Gadalar. I'm afraid i am unable to disclose details, due to the privacy of this matter. Either way, after this was all done, the day after i met with Fari-Wari, and we were both surprised when Gadalar himself presented me with a Mercenary Camp Invite slip. While reading it off, Gadalar became continually frustrated with the length and over-the-top emphasis, and snapped, questioning who wrote it. from the style, i'm guessing Rughadjeen. And finally, the Crystal War era. It began with a meeting with Alexei Mayakov at the Lion Springs tavern, asking me to find Lilisette and Portia, or there will be punishment, with emphasis on the punishment. I went to tthe Chateau D' Orguille, coming in at the end of a meeting with Ragelise and his knights.

How should i start this thing?

Well i guess i could do an introduction. I'm Barduwulf, SAM75 of the Alexander Server. Not exactly your normal SAM, due to me not wanting a Hagun(please save all complaints until the end of the post), or my use of town gear, which is armor wear when not killing things.(can ya believe people thought i TPd in Dandy spectacles? It's the reason i put a disclaimer in my bazaar comment.)

To Sum up the last week, i've gotten a Soboro Sukehiro, and a Swift Belt, both 1/1. Sky's been a headache recently due to some members skipping out, but we're hoping to get that fixed soon. really want that sky gear. Still working on unlocking Tachi: Rana, which is a royal pain in the ass.

yeah, i know this isn't that exciting of a first post, but i'm new at this, so cut me some slack. Either way, this'll become more interesting as time goes by.
